Programming the radio is not easy, even with the instructions. it needs a separate on/off switch, volume even level #1 is too loud to fall asleep listening to the radio, needs a timer (snooze) so that it turns off automatically after a certain time. The radio would be better if it didn't have to reset the clock every time the radio was turned on. It's a nice radio, even with the antenna fully extended it doesn't have the best reception of any radio I've owned.
