Belt material - woven nylon in two colors on each side. It feels sturdy and will likely last a long time. It's also attractive and comfortable. The buckle works reasonably well, but the strap tends to slip off if you bend over and put pressure on it. Of course, it is enough just to pull at the end and tighten it.
