I found it thick and supportive, fits as expected. Maybe a little less. Depending on support preferences, I usually want a looser fit. Where I usually buy a medium size I choose a large also depending on the brand, type of material used etc. In some cases this bra is too tight for me. areas but unkempt appearance in others. I think this bra is more suitable for the bustier figure. My padded cups still look "baggy" and I have an A/B cup. 36" band for more impact and 38" for comfort. If I thought I would like this bra I would go for size XL for comfort but it would be too loose in the cup area. Really good stuff though and it keeps your bumps smooth. The pads aren't really needed either, but everything looks nice and round.
