It was easy for me as an account manager who has very little technical knowledge of how it works in terms of analytics but only needed insight into what our customer's were doing within their inboxes (both incoming & outgoing).
I don't think there is anything they can do currently if my user isn't logged onto Outlook when he receives emails from us which means we need something else like email signatures/ popups etc - this would be ideal so users are not just logging off! They help measure open rates per campaign / lead funnel stage too (which wasn’d otherwise been difficult), plus insights about where customers may have got stuck during each step e.g why didn&rsquot;t one particular person convert after receiving xyz? This will allow them to personalise engagement strategies going forward to ensure conversions occur once someone clicks through / opens up any given piece of marketing material.
