FINALLY, after multiple tries and returns, I've finally found the perfect size, shape, and function! Easy to clean: simply pull out the entire gasket and cover assembly. The same pad is suitable for microwave tea if you need it. It doesn't drip unless you pour it, the spout is high enough. I fill the kettle with very hot tap water while making tea. The strainer is deep and I usually brew 4-5 bags with no problem and you get a good soak seal thanks to the lid that sits on top of the seal. (Adjust the screen slightly if you have a slight gap). The tea strainer is made of durable sheet metal and not mesh, so loose tea doesn't get into the water. The handle is very easy to hold and pour. 2 large cups of strong tea, perfect for me! Ideal!
