I've been looking for a hub and have bought it 3 times but they were all junk (one couldn't read the CF card, one was very slow and one seems difficult to insert/remove my CF card) . And this one seems like a lot. It is a durable material with a beautiful finish. I've been tested with both Macbook and Surface Pro and both work great. I highly recommend reading the CF card as it has a guide pin to avoid inserting the CF card in the wrong direction (which is a fairly common mistake when using CF cards). I haven't tested with USB 3.0, but for USB 2.0 the copy/write speed is 13MB/s, which is pretty impressive. It's easy to give 5 stars, so much!
