Searching for stainless steel hooks was a bit tiresome. Most are zinc plated or galvanized steel, which is fine, but I wanted stainless steel. Found this and ordered it. I didn't care that the screws weren't rustproof since I got them, but I was pleasantly surprised with them. The magnet sticks to the screws better than the hook itself, which is why they're stainless steel. They're not exactly 3mm thick, but they're close. They seem to hold quite a bit of weight, but I wouldn't put more than 20 pounds on them. They have been brushed but tool marks are visible in some places. The edges are also a bit sharp. I think a little filing or sanding will help. Overall not bad for $1 a hook.
