Not sure if they really contain copper or not - the copper fibers, if any, are too small to see. I like their size, they are higher at the ankle and longer at the toes than other compression stockings I've tried, but the compression is very light. I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and Fibromyalgia so it takes a lot of compression to really feel the difference in pain or joint stability. It's definitely not for shared support. They help a little with the swelling and over time they seem to help a little with the pain but don't make much of a difference. Although the price is still not bad.
