My granddaughter is 11 months old and I bought these pants in 18 months size. My granddaughter is not a typical skinny child. She's stocky, like a cherub angel. When she sits in these pants, the fabric puckers into her baby fat and looks very uncomfortable. I think the fabric they are made of is not very roomy so I would caution against buying them if you have a long legged child. We have other pants that are 18 months old and don't do this with their legs. I think they could contain more cotton. I don't know what these pants are made of.
