My TV antenna needs to be near a window to get a usable signal. The coaxial cable on the antenna is fully integrated, so it cannot be easily replaced (not without lengthy cutting and soldering, which can irreparably damage the antenna). It was ridiculously easy to install, inexpensive, and worked great. I was grateful that I had some left because I needed them to plug in my new router. I cannot guarantee they are weatherproof as I have not used these particular connectors outdoors, but I have used this type of connector outdoors with no ill effects. They've also withstood water spills and cat puke, so I'm inclined to think they're durable enough. correct price.
