This is a very good backdrop for the photographer at this price. The device is well thought out and very quick and easy to assemble. It is strong and stable for hanging light backdrops. This is a small diameter tubular metal tube. When it's fully extended, it's not enough to hold heavy materials as it's likely to bend in the middle. A nice bonus is that the carrying case, weights and clamps are included with the stand and do not need to be purchased separately. The connectors, brackets and clips for the stand are made of lightweight plastic, so this stand is probably not recommended for heavy, frequent professional use. This device met my expectations and fully met my needs, which is why I recommend it.
