I was hesitant to buy this because I already have a small trimmer. The Wahl brand trimmer for face, ears, etc. But I’m soo glad I did! I have 2 small fluffy dogs (papillons) and this trimmer is so much easier and more maneuverable. The shape is better: I like the curved head. The guard makes it safer and I love how it has different settings so I can control the length. The longer guard helps act like a comb while I cut, helping me get hairs that are otherwise flat against the skin and hard to trim. I use this, along with scissors, to give my dogs sanitary trims and to keep their "pants” short. But it would work well for anywhere. It is an amazing trimmer. I would recommend it to anyone.
