I struggled to find a good solution for hanging a 65" LG OLED above a chimney as the front wall is stone around the chimney. I wanted to cut through the facade but because it was getting too difficult to pull the wire through. Instead I looked at ceiling mounts but wasn't familiar with them (apart from seeing them in airports) but since this mount had consistently good reviews I gave it a try. I was surprised at the ease of assembly compared to the last few wall mounts I've made. , as well as the variability of adjustments to achieve the desired height. For my solution I used the middle bracket. My TV is an AXB VESA 300 x 200 configuration and it fits with no problem. I measured everything beforehand as LG's VESA mounting points are on the bottom of the TV and the space around the bezel was quite tight, but combined with the specs posted here I was able to tell before purchasing that everything would fit. Because from the cable entry holes I could run the HDMI cables through the ceiling to the cabinet next to my media box, which would be more difficult through the wall. In my setup you can barely see the bracket and most people assume the TV is wall mounted. I was able to leave some space for a future soundbar that would hang under the TV. The tilt helps to get a viewing angle suitable for the sofa. In general I am very satisfied.
