I bought this for my TASCAM DP-24SD just to see if its "custom fit" would work for me before buying three more for my two DP-32SDs and my AKAI DPS16 . But after trying the lid on both TASCAM and AKAI, it turned out that it was custom made for AKAI, with a snug fit, but not too tight. In the end it's still a good thing as AKAI needed it too. But that's exactly what I was looking for on the way to my three Tascam devices. Unfortunately, they don't fit well enough to look "out of the box". But I will say that they are definitely a well made quality product.
