What did I pay for? The product is a complete failure.

I have been sitting on the 50D for two years now, I have three glasses for it and a Speedlite 580 EX II. I was really looking forward to the 60D, I blindly believed the rumors about the new processor, etc. But in the end . I want to cry =( Canon showed the world a real anti-crisis DSLR. In fact, this is a 550D in a different case. It will be sold, of course. There are a lot of dummies around. Many will not like this review. But this is a bitter truth. Canon is hopelessly behind from Nikon, which recently released the D7000 with the latest processor-sensor. This D7000 beat my favorite 50D in terms of image quality, especially at high ISO.60D does not compare with the D7000 at all. But they compare, filthy marketers!Shame and shame, Canon, shame and disgrace.

Pros

Compared to 50D: Added video and swivel screen.

Cons

Reduced the rate of fire, replacing CF with SD (which are also less reliable). Spoiled ergonomics, proven over the years. We saved on the body, replacing it with a less reliable one. Removed some features. They pushed even more pixels onto the unfortunate crop 1.6 and the old processor-sensor, and even more noise came with them . There were already enough of them for 50D.
