Doesn’t fit on sun visor

I didn’t buy this for its original purpose. I bought it to keep mask in to store in my car. The clips do not fit on my Toyota RAV4 visor. I gave it to my husband thinking it was just my car it didn’t fit and it didn’t fit on his sun visor either. Long story short I still use it but I have to just keep it in the door compartment
