I was surprised by a few things when I opened the box. First, the stripes are mottled - not solid. And it's VERY light, which seemed cheap to me at first. But I decided to give it a try and I liked it. It looks amazing, you can't even tell the stripes are speckled. And lightness was a good thing, after all. It's hot here in Texas, and in the winter I throw a fluffy blanket underneath to keep warm, which I did anyway. The pubic area is very thin and somewhat see-through, so you'll need to cut all the labels off the pillows or you might be able to see them. Overall very happy with the purchase and the price. And I washed and dried it before putting it on the bed and it washed out beautifully.
