I like that this product gradually gets brighter as it gets darker. I'm not sure how well the video shows this, but the more light my finger blocked, the brighter the night light got. There is a cool/warm switch on one side and a separate dim/bright switch on the other, both clearly labeled/engraved on the plastic. They are slightly larger than the outlet and still leave room for a second outlet. When plugged into the mains, they stick out about 1-2 inches from the wall. They provide enough light for going to the bathroom at night, both in bright and dim light.
