This cable works just as well as the original.

I have an Astro A40s with a Mixamp Pro TR. I found a short in the original cable that caused the audio to crackle when I had a mic plugged in. Solution: Remove the microphone and use an external microphone. My situation changed and I had to return the microphone, so I bought this cable and I can use my microphone again! The audio is clear and interference-free, and most importantly, the person I'm talking to on Discord isn't affected by the electronic squeaking caused by a short in my previous cable.
