I liked the speaker for more than a year until it failed. (There shouldn't be anything on the surface that might rattle when the sub fires). I can't get any amplification of the sound, only a very low volume that I can hear by putting my ear to it. I made several attempts to contact someone on ideausa - via email and via vm. A few days later they called me back and told me what I already knew. Warranty expired, no luck. The guy on the other end wasn't rude. If it was my company I would replace it. This is a great product. I just had a lemon.
