I have an original Xbox One box that I bought shortly after the release of the Xbox One console and eventually the power supply started overheating and my Xbox One just shut down for no apparent reason. I was playing the Xbox (for over an hour) and then it just shut down. Then I realized that the power adapter feels very hot, like it might burn your skin if you touch it for too long. So I bought another PSU (not this one but another universal one here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06Y1VCD16/) that had a fan so I figured it would be good. Unfortunately, within the first month of daily use, the fan in the other device started making a lot of noise. And you could tell it was the fan assembly in the PSU that was making all the noise, and it got louder and louder over the next few months. It eventually got so loud we turned up the tv to hear the game and my wife got mad at how loud we were. This went on for about a month before we just couldn't take the noise anymore - it was completely ridiculous! So I finally broke down and bought this device and I've been using it for about a month now and it's great so far! It doesn't seem to get very hot (although it does) and I can't hear any fan at all, so my whole family is happy there's no noise turning on the Xbox One. I would recommend this device EVERY DAY!
