I got this adapter to adapt my old MF Nikon lenses to my Fuji x-s10. I have a "g" lens adapter (it has an aperture ring) as I also have Nikon g lenses. It was debatable whether it would work with MF lenses or not. Answer: YES! To use it with MF lenses you have two aperture control options. Option 1) Set the adapter's aperture ring to the widest position and use the lens's aperture ring to control the aperture. Option 2) Set the lens aperture to the smallest value (f/22 or f/32) and use the adapter's aperture ring to set the aperture. A NOTICE. Option 1 is probably the best option in most situations, for reasons too complex to go into here. The adapter fits perfectly. It's tight, both on the camera and lens, but I don't think it's too tight. There is extremely little turnover. I have to rotate the lens to feel it shake. The quality of the adapter seems to be very good. The aperture ring rotates smoothly with pleasantly muted clicks. The box it came in is nice to the touch. I am very happy with the purchase.
