I bought these products because I have a pet parrot and every time I wear earrings next to him, he tears them and I can't just stop wearing earrings because my holes are widening shut down! I didn't like the thought of him accidentally swallowing one or impaling himself, so I found this. You put them on and it doesn't even look like you're wearing anything! I've had them for a few days now and my bird has never tried to steal them because he can't see them! I would unreservedly recommend them to a bird owner who has a bird with a penchant for sparkling earrings. And yes, in the second photo I'm wearing earrings.
