Review on Franklin Brass FBSCRH5 TDG C Gunmetal Assembly: Durable and Stylish by John Roberts

Revainrating 4 out of 5

They consist of two parts connected by a small fastening screw.

- At first glance the size seemed small, but it "grown together". The size also corresponds to the strength of the hook. The coating or paint is thin. It won't last long if you use them to hang metal objects. The hook attaches to the base plate with a small machine screw. You can remove this screw and use some Loctite before reassembling. The mounting screws are long enough to go through the drywall to the stud under the wall, but they are very thin. I wouldn't hang anything heavier than a light jacket, Christmas stocking, or computer headset. For example, they don't last long with a heavy bath towel! - Because the screws are so flimsy, you have to drill a pilot hole for them. - The hook looks really good, also because it matches my curtains and tiebacks. .
