I'm new to the lighting game so I decided to buy these cheap lights and see what they can and can't do before I do had to give away $300+ for more powerful lights. Cons: No power cords, only batteries. Not that bright. When I try to use these lights outdoors, even on a cloudy day, late at 5pm, the sun is behind me and a bunch of clouds and bushes, full force, literally right next to my face, just out of zoom. In the camera on my face there was just no noticeable effect. Pros: - Indoors, in a darkened room, these lights work perfectly. They don't generate as much heat, which is nice when you're stuck in a room full of monitors and a monster computer. And since it's already dark and your face is lit by your computer screen as you stream, you can use warmer lighting to even out your complexion - tripods are solid, at least for those little lights. Bottom line: you can spend more money to find something more suitable for many situations, not just a dark room with streamers.
