Review on πŸ’š Mishimoto MMSK-GR Weighted Shift Knob in Vibrant Green for Enhanced Shifting Experience by Jason Gopinath

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Much better than stock, needs a little tweaking

Absolutely amazing upgrade for my lame plain plastic shift knob. However, the handle itself should be 0.5 to 0.75 inch thicker in diameter in my opinion. She is beautiful and light (even black like I bought) and does everything I have planned for her. I appreciate the increase in height and weight after installing the short shift kit, it makes paddling through the gears a lot easier. The reason for the purchase was to improve my grip. The old pen kept slipping out of my hand, this new one works much better but can handle a more tactile grip. The last thing I didn't like was that your spare boot has nothing to attach and just floats on the surface. Now I know that Mishimoto may have found a way to block him. You could even find a way to just attach it to the stock with an extra plastic insert and not worry about it replacing the grip itself.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks
