I bought this double fold to use on my check book and it fits perfectly. I had no trouble placing my checks in the book. It has several handy pockets big enough to hold cash. I like to have a stamp book with me so that everything is in order when I pay my bills. The front pocket is big enough for me to fit a debit card and ID. Sometimes when I know I'm going to pay for something with a check, I use a check book as my wallet, and it works well for that. I was afraid it would fall out of my back pocket but I didn't have that problem. The leather seems to be of good quality although I don't know much about leather. I have had this product for several months and it is still in excellent condition. I have a tan and the color is a little lighter than I expected
