Review on 🚰 Effortless Cleanliness: Auto-Fill Water Bowl with Indoor Install Kit & 25ft Poly-tubing by Scott Rodriguez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I bought one with a separate needle valve so you can easily turn off the water supply to the bowl.

Installation: This kit includes everything you need to connect to a 1/4 hose for an ice maker. If you plan to hook it up to anything other than a 1/4 tube refrigerator icemaker, you will need additional piping parts. That's not the manufacturer's fault, there are just too many possible scenarios to include all possible details. If you can't hook it up to an ice maker, the next easiest choice is a corner faucet stop. You will almost certainly need to buy a new miter gauge. If you are unfamiliar with plumbing and all the options, snap a picture of your current corner stop and take it to the hardware store. I bought one with a separate needle valve so I can easily turn off the water supply to the bowl. The compression fittings that the bowl comes with are of good quality and very common. They are not prone to leaks as mentioned in some other reviews. These are the same connectors found on almost all ice maker refrigerators. Yes, if you are unfamiliar with them or use them incorrectly, they can leak. However, if you install them correctly, they are very reliable and do not leak. Usage: I have 3 dogs that drink about 2 gallons a day. This bowl is amazing, I never have to worry about them running out of water. It makes a slight hiss when filling and drinking. At least none of my dogs were afraid of it. Two dogs never spill a drop while drinking. However, the third dog has to do something different because he spills insane amounts of water every time he goes to drink. He will leave and there will be a pool of water about 3 feet in diameter. He hasn't done that with any other bowl. I tried to talk to him about purity but he doesn't speak English. I used the supplied washers to lower the water level in the bowl hoping that would help. it's not like this. I ended up placing the bowl in the Rubbermaid's small, shallow tub to catch the spill.
