A few years ago I had the best night's sleep in a friend's spare room. It was memory foam, so I immediately went home and bought a $1,000 foam mattress. All my aches and pains were relieved. Even the pinched nerve in my neck causing pain in my shoulder and arm was a distant memory. A year later I visited the same friend. Again, her mattress was fantastic - better than my love. I found out they spent less than $300 on mine - it was a 10 inch Lucid. Now I travel professionally with a caravan. The mattress was terrible. about the firm mattress that came with my new RV. I have to tell you it's amazing! I sleep better, have less aches and pains and the pinched nerve that became inflamed from the hard mattress I slept on worries me less every day. I expected the smell based on the reviews. I feel nothing. The mattress doesn't sag or shrink under me like others do. I'm no small fish - I weigh 200 pounds. This mattress is a good buy. If you're on the fence, just know this mattress beats my expensive memory foam. I would definitely buy again.
