I ordered these for my daughter's first birthday. I actually only really needed two of the colors plus the gold and gold confetti balloons. This set came with the strip to make an arch. I used an electric pump, not helium, as my goal was to create an arch (which you don't need helium for).My first tip is that when you get this, sort the different balloon sizes. All the balloons are packaged together in a shrink wrapped plastic. So that will make your life a little easier when deciding which ones you will need.Second tip is to really stretch out the confetti balloons from the opening. Then, if using an electric pump, go slowly as you inflate. You do not want to pop these because you only get 3 and it would be so sad since they are beautiful.The arch is very simple to make. Just insert the balloons into the small slots of the strip. You don't need to do any twisting of the balloons to make the arch. Trust me. It is very easy and as you continue to add balloons, the arch will sort of create itself. Once you are done, you can add in some smaller "filler" balloons as needed.Awesome set and great price.
