So I'm revising my previous five star review. I used to love it but in the last few months I've been disappointed. I wish the controls were more customizable. Tonight I decided to give up. It was so exciting to come home and cook corned beef for dinner! What I liked is that what takes 6-8 hours in a slow cooker takes less than an hour in a pressure cooker. Not today! Put the corned beef, it was all fried in garlic powder, with the addition of paprika and. Cover with enough liquid. I started to build vapor and then I noticed it smelled and the vapor was smoke! I saw sparks and ran to turn it off. Part of the cord that was put into the furnace melted, causing electricity to ignite. I'm not sure if it's an accident or not, but an accident could potentially burn my house down because I didn't want to be in the kitchen.
