The shoe is difficult to rate, mainly because its appeal to the wearer is subjective, but personally I wanted a pair of Jordan 1s and that was my overall experience with this shoe. The build quality is top notch and everything in these shoes looks and feels superb. I will find that the printed label on the insert wears off fairly quickly, but to be honest I've never had a pair of shoes that didn't. Due to the fairly sturdy construction of these boots, rest times are significantly longer than, say, your average pair of running shoes. These shoes have very little flexibility being basketball shoes so the initial break-in period can be quite uncomfortable. Also, the shoes are quite comfortable and fit well right out of the box (I ordered a size 12, which is what I usually get). As for looks, it depends on what color combinations you get and what your taste is. I went for black and white with red accents and these shoes go with a lot of outfits so I went with that color combo. Overall I am very happy with the Air Jordan 1 and would recommend them to anyone who wants a stylish pair of classic shoes.
