HOT HOT HOT. I replaced an old travel mug (found in my garden, by the way) that had survived 10 years of use. This mug has an amazing amount of tea. Tea stays HOT! So much so that I had to change the way I make tea for the trip. I can no longer just pour hot water and seal. I can bring the tea to non-melting temperatures before pouring it into a mug (Mama Bear said that's right!) and letting it sit warm for several hours. Specifically from 6:30am to 12:30pm - I didn't check anymore because I drink tea! As long as tightness. Haven't tried the basket yet, but soon. Excellent quality.
