The belt seems to be of good quality, consistent with the price. Beautiful and elastic. The stretch aspect is great when you're seated because it "gives" rather than pinches. If the belt's main purpose is to hold your pants, then this is a classic 'mistake' when you want to carry your phone, wallet, tape measure, etc. The elastic is too light to hold even heavy pants, e.g. jeans or curderoi. If your pants are left without a belt, buy this one as a nice decoration. Try using a piece of string as a pant support. This will work better.
