I wish it came with instructions on how to put everything on properly. I don't know if they just didn't have instructions in general or if it was a mistake from the manufacturer. I will say during this pandemic its been a lifesaver, I think its strange to wear a mask but have no protection for your children. This is even more helpful during the really cold weather and cold rain we've been experiencing. Also, my child sleeps warm and comfortably in it when we are out and about.
