Dear Sakroots. I use it as a wallet and also take it out of my purse and use it when walking around the store. I don't use a cable over my shoulder. never have The dust zipper finally broke on my old version. The only reason I gave this 4 stars and not 5 is because the pull tab you use to unzip the zipper doesn't have a tassel like my old version. It's a little awkward to use this tab to open instead of a brush. It's bigger than my eldest and I'm not sure I like it either. Generally I prefer the old version. I understand why they made it - it fits larger phones, but I really miss the brush. Go to Ebay to get an older version if it fails.
