Not bad, not great in my opinion.
There are two problems with this strap. Problem 1: The belt is not as wide as expected. This is a thin belt. Problem 2: This one is a bit more problematic. The distance from the end of the ratchet to the tip is longer than it should be. If sized correctly, too many inches of the tip of the strap will be dangling behind the strap loop. And the tip bends because of it.
Pros
- Ratchet straps are simply lighter and last longer than a regular buckle strap.
Cons
- The buckle doesn't stay on the belt, the slit is too short
