Leatherman with EVERYTHING!

I have had several Leatherman tools and this is by far the biggest and worst of them all. Some of the other reviews here are endless so I'll try to keep it simple and to the point. A VERY powerful tool and I am very picky about my Leatherman products. The Black Oxide finish holds up well, although the top coat scratches easily. Tools galore in this Leatherman. Need an unusual tool? Something will work here. Dangerously sharp blades! The first thing I could cut myself on was my finger. Works well. The file is of high quality and does not wear out quickly. The wire cutters haven't had to be changed yet, but it seems they're easy enough to change out. The pliers are super strong. After breaking open with one hand, it becomes quite easy. Minuses:. The velcro that holds the knife in its sheath is flimsy and doesn't stand up to everyday use. It's hard, but what do you expect when so much awesomeness is packed into one tool!. The ruler can be difficult to read on a black background. Some of the smaller drivers found between the blades can be difficult to extract. You have to be careful, otherwise you can easily cut yourself if you're not careful. Even with regular use, they have hardly come loose. The advantages clearly outweigh the disadvantages. The first thing I recommend is to get rid of the case. Because this tool is heavy, I bought a Maxpedition case. and it keeps the Leatherman on my belt where you forget it. Solid and incredibly durable, it follows the shape of a leather manipulator and holds it securely. UPDATE: The tip of a flathead screwdriver broke off an easy-to-remove screw. My Klein driver removed it with no problem, so that's a bit disappointing. Now I have to pay ten dollars to ship a four month seventy dollar instrument across the country. UPDATE 2: Leatherman paid for shipping both ways and repaired my instrument within 2 weeks. No problems since, but I'm still wary of driver advice.
