My dentist recommended soft bristles for my gum problems. I bought these and they are stiffer and harder than Oral-B's medium to hard toothbrush heads. If you need a soft bristled toothbrush head, use Oral-B. If you have gum problems, they are not worth a compromise, even at a low price. They will cost you more in dental expenses in the long run.
