I've started using a contraceptive patch and it's hard to hold on when it gets wet. The ends begin to rise and mostly detach. I decided to give it a try and most importantly, this product is definitely waterproof. I applied a plaster and then put this bandage over it. For 7 days it stays right where it's supposed to be and never rises! Even if one corner of the bandage doesn't stick to my skin, whatever's attached stays waterproof and never comes off. When it comes time to remove it requires a little work around the edges, but it comes off without irritating my skin or causing any problems. Before I discovered this I was wasting about 3 patches a week because they weren't staying in place. It sucks because it's very hard to get a replacement without paying a fortune - over $100. This bandage saved me a lot of money. By the way, it doesn't work so well when you wrap it around your finger, because water gets in and comes off immediately. If you use it all sides against your skin, it will stay in place until you're ready to remove it.
