Hmm, no. Not gold plated.
Images and descriptions of this product are misleading. The plug contacts are nickel or other white metal with red stripes between the tip, ring and barrel on the plug. not gold with black stripes as shown. What I received was not what I expected, although otherwise the product is basically similar. The length of the wire before winding might be 200cm, but this is not important information as the usable length is less than 100cm even when "fully extended" - at least not at normal atmospheric temperature and pressure. Sellers, why not describe and photograph the product you are selling?
