I was expecting it to be more of a hot pink but still nice. She likes it and she spins in it and she likes how it spreads out as she spins. It fits the spot and probably won't for long. I want to buy her some other colors and up a size from 8 to 9. She will soon be 8 and has decided on a size 8-9, but for the next dress she will choose a larger size so that she can wear it for a full year, not half. The washing instructions said something about dry cleaning, but I washed it in the washing machine instead of a bag to protect it and air dried it. A light iron should probably be used, but I haven't tried using an iron yet, not sure iron will mess it up.
