When I received this bag I was impressed and really wanted to use it on a 15 day trip to China and a 14 day summer trip to South Africa. It looked like an ordinary backpack and contained all the necessary equipment. I've safely packed two Nikon full frame bodies, 24-70 and 70-200 lenses along with my iPad, chargers and flight gear. Unfortunately, the handle wore out after the first day of travel. Then on day 5 the internal zip failed leaving me with no additional safety net if the front flap failed. On the other hand, the straps are fantastic, I was able to carry the backpack with ease and didn't put any strain on my back. The advantage is that the hip belt is easy to stow away. Be careful in crowds as stealthy pickpockets can easily get their hands on zippers. That being said I found it impractical to place the gear salvage bag in crowded areas, a side access reconfiguration would have made this bag more popular. I came back with a broken zipper and I'm still looking for the perfect backpack for me.
