Daybeds are once again an attractive alternative to maximize space. After retirement, empty nests and downsizing, we faced such a challenge. We have a day bed for our private porch and for the grandees who came occasionally. So we were looking for something to use as a cover that would not make the porch look like a bedroom and this cover served that purpose. We live by the lake so it is suitable for sea creatures on our porch. We put some pillows on top to minimize the effect of it being a bed again and surprisingly it actually works. Very handy for opening the windows, feeling the breeze from the lake and getting a good nap. :)
