I bought this to help my 2.5 year old get in and out of a car. It's almost 20 inches from floor to doorstep and just the perfect height for it. It also folds up nicely and fits between my seat and the car frame. I can fold it with one hand (particularly handy when arguing with the little guy in the parking lot) by pounding on 2 ends with my knee. My only hesitation in ordering was that some reviews said it wasn't strong .Even before it came close I tried it myself. I'm 120 and have bounced it up and down a few times and never felt like it was about to collapse. I also read that some people had trouble removing the stickers. They must have changed the adhesive because I only had a small problem with one of them and even it came off easier than most food stickers that peel off products.
