These cotton leggings are so comfortable! I just received them today, tried them on and I love them! The waistband has a thin piece of elastic that is not super annoying or uncomfortable. The cotton material is nice and smooth and fairly thick, definitely not see-through. The size chart is mostly accurate, and following the advice of other reviewers, I did get the larger size just because I am on the higher end of the XL, so I purchased the 2XL. My word of advice to average to short height (I'm 5' 5.5") get the capri length because the full length will be bagging around your ankles. I haven't washed them yet, so not sure about shrinkage, but they are, in my opinion, rather long. Overall, I give these 4 stars, as they met my expectations as far as the fabric and elastic waist and honestly its my fault for not following through what other reviewers said about getting the capri length.
