Very cheap like most suits you will find. Yes it's cute and our boys loved their Luigi and Mario costumes BUT not even remotely worth the money! I knew it was going to be super skinny as always but my biggest issues with this costume are that 1) it doesn't come with gloves 2) the mustache is ridiculously large, way too big and we had to cut it off dear 1/10th in the size to even get close to our boys and 3) the hat is again ridiculously big and very cheap! The hat that came with this size 3 was ridiculous, not even remotely small enough for our 2 year old! We had to use about 6 safety pins to pin it to his stocking hat to stay on his head and it looked pretty silly because it was too big and bent into safety pins to hold. Also due to the way ours was packaged the peak on his Mario hat was permanently curved straight up covering the M at the top which again looked really silly and no matter what we did we couldn't get it to it to stay like a normal banknote. Cap. We have another hat my older boy got from another Luigi costume a few years ago, they still play with it but the gist of the story is that the Luigi hat they play with is from an old one Costume is about 10 times better quality than this one. included in this costume. Luigi's hat doesn't really know how to explain it, but it's "springy" around the whole thing, so it's really small, but stretches to fit a much wider range of heads. I can wear Luigi's hat and it fits great, the quality seems to be much better and then I can take it and put it on my 2 year old's head and he can run around the house and it fits great! Not the case with the hat that came with this Mario costume! He literally has a 2 or 3 inch stretch down his back (nonsense) so the hat doesn't even stay on his head! All in all our boys had a happy Halloween and love wearing their costumes around the house but this costume is clearly overpriced for what you get which is ridiculous when you think about it too much. It's a little worse for me because I spent $6 on a Luigi costume from one of our local Party City stores that was closing and the hat that came with it was 10 times better than the Mario hat that came with those 25- 30 was delivered. Dollar suit here at Amazon. All I know is you won't be surprised by this costume for the price you pay but the boys looked really cute and the only reason I'm not returning this costume now that Halloween is over is that my little man likes to play in it. around the house!
