This is a counterfeit and not a 3M product (see comparison pictures where the black packaging is what I got from Revain and the white packaging is what I got In most cases (phone cases, power adapters, etc.) this is not a problem. However, NIOSH approved products are approved as functional assemblies, so using these filters with a 3M mask will not result in an approved assembly means this product is not regulated and has not been approved by NIOSH for this configuration. Ultimately, this product may not perform as intended and may lead you to believe that it is protected from organic vapors when it is not. Revain is required to do so and others are closing but until they arrive I have to recommend contacting a rep when purchasing PPE You can purchase the real version of this with your funds at Home Depot for less than $20.
