Hides money safe and secure

I recently bought this for my husband on a trip. Yes, you'll have to cut the bills into thirds to fit, but that's to be expected, otherwise the belt will have to be so wide that it's unlikely to fit through the belt loops. I can't remember exactly how many bills fit in it, but I'd say it was around 10-12 of them. The zip is secure and my husband had no issues with the plastic zip. However, this set off an alarm that ran through airport security. When it went through the detector and turned off, the belt never crossed my mind because I was sure that with the plastic buckle and no metal parts, it wasn't the problem. After I dropped it, everything went fine. I didn't think this belt offered RFID protection, but apparently something inside was triggering an alarm. On the way back, he didn't buckle his seat belt until he was through security. Overall, I would recommend this as an inexpensive way to hide money. It's only been used on one trip so far, so we can't comment on how well it holds up to multiple uses, but for the price, even if it only lasts a couple of trips, it's still worth the money.
