***UPDATE: Still holding up well. I spend a lot of time on my computer looking at properties, photos, floor plans, etc. My computer's internal fans only turn on when I use interactive 3D floor plan videos for a while. That way I didn't have to worry about my computer overheating. It was a good purchase and I would buy again. ----- I bought this because "rubberized" covers aren't made the way they used to be anymore. They keep cracking/breaking and aren't as rubbery as they used to be. I agree with many others that it's time to find something different. I came across this and was a bit hesitant if it was causing the overheating. I had no problems with that. I will say that I am not picky about my cases/laptops and only use them for home use. I'm a little concerned that the thickness/softness can easily bring tears. I scratched it in the first 2 days of use. In person, the colors are very bright, as in the photo. I really regret not getting a solid color because it's too much for me, but it's just my taste. Unfortunately for me, but not the fault of the manufacturer or seller.
